Trusting our loved ones are truly always with us can feel illogical and can take courage.

As a medium, I learned to trust the unknown so intensely that now it feels like the one thing I know for sure.

But knowing the other side is real can feel uncertain when we have mountains of logic, grief and influence stacked against us.

We are taught to trust the sure thing.

The thing we know will give us the security, safety and basic needs.

The thing we believe will make us feel accepted and understood.

I did not grow up believing mediumship was my destiny.

It was safe to be spiritual, but not too spiritual.

It was safe to believe in a higher power, but nothing too close or accessible.

But as I experienced major life moments as an adult, it became impossible to doubt the messages I received, the reinforcement I felt, and the clarity I experienced.

The courage to trust the unknown becomes easier when you realize it's actually not unknown.

So, what is it?

It's an inner knowing.

It's an intuitive receipt of input and information.

It's an intangible truth.

I've had periods of illogical belief for my whole life.

I would debate the existence of Santa to my elementary school classmates all the livelong day!

Around 3rd grade I remember telling my friends that we can trust things that we don't have proof for, we can explore ideas that we can't validate...and we can appreciate something that inspires, uplifts and ignites us.

As adults, we fall into a pattern of acknowledging what is "real".

It can hold us back from embracing the unknown.

What can you choose to trust, embrace, or entertain today?

You might be surprised how natural it feels.
